Busta Rhymes and J Dilla are reportedly reuniting for a new album this year.

The Flipmode Squad frontman held a listening session in New York City on Thursday night
(February 20) for Dillagence 2, the sequel to his and Dilla’s original 2007 mixtape.

Joined by Statik Selektah and DJ Tony Touch, Busta gave a room full of lucky fans and friends
a first opportunity to hear the project — which appears to include a collaboration with Lil Wayne.

Statik reportedly shared a brief snippet on his Instagram Stories that seemingly features Weezy,
tagging the Young Money superstar in the clip. If confirmed, it would mark the first time fans hear
Lil Wayne rapping over J Dilla production.

Announcing Dillagence 2 ahead of the listening party on Instagram, Busta wrote:

“THE BLESSINGS DON’T STOP SO WE DON’T STOP!!! NEVERRR!!! BREAKING NEWS!!!! BUSTA RHYMES x J DILLA
NEW ALBUM!! POP UP LISTENING SESSION TONIGHT!!”

Further details, including a release date and tracklist, have not yet been revealed.
