The legacy of Spida Lee stems from his hometown of Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, UK. Over the course of his esteemed career, Spida has toured the country with legendary Leeds lyricist Skinnyman, collaborated with the likes of Klashnekoff and has released nine official projects since his debut single \u2018Verbal Assassin\u2019 dropped in 2007.<\/p>\n
In 2012, Spida launched a successful clothing venture called Carriacou Jack, in order to promote his music by accompany the sales of his CD\u2019s with fresh clothing designs.<\/p>\n

All the tracks on the album stick to a theme that resonates within the conscious underground vibe.<\/p>\n It’s a very cohesive and intelligent\u00a0album.\u00a0There is a militant feel with jazzy undertones ,\u00a0comparable to a slow kiss before a knife in the chest.<\/p>\n I was pleasantly surprised by all the soul that was obviously mixed into this album. My favorite line from this gem was : ” I’d sooner eat crumbs, with bums than, steak with snakes !” \u00a0on track #5, There are many shining jewels like this throughout the album.<\/p>\n Finally ,The title track : Rise of a King, is destined to be an anthem for those who are in need of an articulate voice for their angst big big ups !!! ~ B.
