About Salmo:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Salmo (Maurizio Pisciottu, born in 1984) is a pioneering Sardinian artist now living in Milan, where he lives and works with his Machete collective in a Warhol factory which is the home and studio of rappers, producers, graphic designers and video makers. In just one year Salmo took on the Italian rap scene (over 40 million views on his official YouTube channel) and introduced elements of electronica and hardcore rap in his music like Italy had not seen before. Before moving permanently to rap, Salmo has played in hardcore bands, from Skasico to the Three Pigs To Ed Gein, with whom he participated in the Heineken Jammin Festival in Venice in 2008 .<\/p>\n

In 2011 Salmo produced the first solo album “The Island Chainshaw Massacre” in which he mixed electronic sounds and 90’s rap, distinctive and revolutionary for the Italian rap scene. The same year he moved to Milan and made his breakthrough album, “Death USB” in a single week. It immediately topped the charts on iTunes. Internationally, Salmo became the most sought after Italian artist. His live shows occupy a natural and authentic attitude, always in contact with his audience.<\/p>\n

Like his first album, the new “Midnite” album came out on the Tanta Roba label in 2013. It immediately became one of the best-selling albums in Italy. In the same year Salmo prepares the revolutionary “Midnite live session Tour” with live musicians (bass, guitar, drums and DJ), which has seen him involved in major Italian cities, with great success among the audience and professionals.<\/p>\n

In 2014 he leaves the Tanta Roba label to start working on his album in Machete Empire. He also founds the Lebonski Agency, a booking and management company and releases Documentary, a documantary of his Midnight Live Session Tour.<\/p>\n

In december of 2016, Salmo released the new single 1984 and at the same time announced a new album, Hellvisback, which was released shortly after. The accompanying tour became a resounding success, selling out every show.<\/p>\n

Da Olbia a Milano, dall’ambiente metal, punk-rock e hardcore dell’Isola, in un solo anno SALMO si \u00e8 preso la scena rap italiana (oltre 40 milioni di visualizzazioni sul suo canale YouTube ufficiale) e ne ha cambiato i connotati di genere, introducendovi elementi di elettronica e rap hardcore come qui in Italia ancora non si era visto. Prima di approdare definitivamente al rap, SALMO ha militato in gruppi hardcore, dagli Skasico (con cui ha prodotto 3 album e girato l’Europa) ai Three Pigs ai To Ed Gein, con cui ha partecipato all’Heineken Jammin Festival di Venezia nel 2008.<\/p>\n

Nel 2011, dopo un’incessante attivit\u00e0 live cominciata 13 anni prima, Salmo produce il primo disco solista “The Island Chainshaw Massacre” in cui si mischiano sonorit\u00e0 elettroniche e rap anni ’90, tratto distintivo e rivoluzionario per il panorama rap italiano.
\nLo stesso anno si trasferisce a Milano e, a inizio 2012, in una sola settimana dar\u00e0 vita per Tanta Roba – l’etichetta indipendente di Gu\u00e8 Pequeno e Dj Harsh- all’album della svolta: “Death USB”: subito primo in classifica su iTunes nella settimana di Sanremo.
\nSalmo diventa l’artista pi\u00f9 cliccato, in testa ai big della musica italiana e internazionale. L’attivit\u00e0 live occupa un posto centrale nell’attitudine dell’artista che trova sul palco la sua naturale e autentica dimensione, a contatto col suo pubblico che \u00e8 trasversale come il suo personaggio e la sua proposta musicale, pesantemente contaminata e in continua evoluzione.<\/p>\n

Il 2 Aprile 2013 \u00e8 uscito, sempre per Tanta Roba Label, il nuovo disco “Midnite”,una lavoro di 13 tracce. Midnite ha raggiunto, dopo una settimana dall’uscita, il primo posto tra gli album pi\u00f9 venduti in Italia fino ad arrivare alla conquista del Disco d’Oro.
\nNello stesso anno Salmo assieme ai suoi musicisti (basso, chitarra, batteria e Dj) prepara il rivoluzionario \u201cMidnite live session Tour\u201d, che lo ha visto impegnato nelle maggiori citt\u00e0 italiane, riscuotendo grande successo tra il pubblico e gli addetti ai lavori.<\/p>\n

Nel mese di Maggio 2014 Salmo annuncia la propria uscita dall’etichetta Tanta Roba per iniziare il suo nuovo progetto discografico in Machete Empire, nello stesso periodo inoltre decide di fondare la \u201cLebonski Agency\u201d, societ\u00e0 di booking e management.
\nNell’estate 2014 \u00e8 uscito \u201cDocumentary\u201d, un video-reportage del suo \u201cMidnite live session tour\u201d.
\nVerso la fine del 2014 ha curato la regia del videoclip del singolo Sabato di Jovanotti, insieme a Antonio Usbergo e Nicol\u00f2 Celaia (entrambi degli YouNuts!). La collaborazione con Jovanotti \u00e8 proseguita nel corso del 2015 con la realizzazione di un remix di Sabato e con la partecipazione al Lorenzo negli stadi 2015 Tour in qualit\u00e0 di artista d’apertura per tutte e13 le tappe del tour.
\nIl 18 dicembre Salmo ha pubblicato il singolo 1984, contemporaneamente all’uscita del singolo \u00e8 stato inoltre annunciato il quarto album in studio Hellvisback, poi uscito il 5 febbraio 2016 e in poche settimane \u00e8 stato certificato prima disco d’oro e successivamente disco di platino
