The project features lyrical emcees from all over the United States and around the globe. Now days with major media outlets and radio focusing on trends rather than talent it was time to put something together that not only focused on global unity, but also focused on the declining state of Hip Hop. F\u2013K Tha Lamestream pulls no punches while giving you several styles of Hip Hop that range from West Coast G-Funk and Down South street sh-t to East Coast Hip Hop and Global Hip Hop.<\/p>\n
The Cover art done by @scratchldp depicts an Armageddon-like backdrop with a skull having a microphone driven through it to symbolize that talent still exists in Hip Hop and many are not gonna settle for the lack of substance, talent, and musical ability that is being showcased by the big business side of Hip Hop.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor me it was a no brainer because I spent over 20 years showcasing talented artists, many of which never have seen the light of day, were never given a chance. I look around and see many of my so called peers in the world of music journalism promoting garbage on a daily basis. Something needs to change because right now mainstream Hip Hop is more like a joke, or a parody.
